Welcome to the inaugural season of MVSL @ Valley Beth Shalom!! Our first season will include Sunday basketball leagues for children ages 5-12 (from Noon-7pm), Sunday soccer clinics for children ages 3-6 (from 11am-2pm) and two separate adult basketball leagues taking place on Sunday (7pm-10pm) and Wednesday nights (6:30pm-9:30pm) respectively. Who We Are: MVSL is a subdivision of Valley Beth Shalom in Encino, CA. Organized by Coach Sam and Rabbi Avi Taff, our goal is to promote the Jewish values of teamwork, collaboration, fair play and character building. The MVSL hopes to create a fun, positive and enriching experience for all our participants and fans. Each child may list other children they would like to play with and we will guarantee that they will get at least one of the friends they have requested.
Volunteer coaches are needed in all divisions.
Adult Basketball League (Ages 25+) Two options: Sunday Nights 7:00pm-10:00pm: Regular season Oct 27-Dec 22, Playoffs Jan 12, 19 & 26 Wednesday Nights 6:30pm-10:30pm: Regular season Oct 16-Dec 18, Playoffs Jan 15, 22 & 29

Optional Credit Card Coverage Fee: The synagogue incurs credit card processing fees each time a member uses their credit card. Please help us cover this cost by making an optional 3% donation and it is tax-deductible. You will have an opportunity to do this before submitting your payment.
